Air Compressor Lubricants
ECOSYN synthetic air compressor lubricants are formulated to maximize compressor efficiency, extend oil drain intervals, and provide reliable protection for rotary screw, rotary vane, reciprocating, and centrifugal compressors in demanding industrial environments.
Overview
ECOSYN air compressor lubricants are engineered from advanced synthetic base stocks (including PAO and ester chemistries) to deliver outstanding thermal and oxidation stability under continuous high-temperature operation. The range covers ISO viscosity grades from 32 to 150, suitable for all major compressor types and OEM requirements.
These lubricants resist carbon deposit formation, minimize varnish buildup, and maintain system cleanliness across extended service intervals. Their low volatility and excellent demulsibility properties help reduce oil consumption and moisture-related issues in demanding air compression duty.
Advantages Over Mineral Oils
ECOSYN synthetic compressor oils deliver measurable performance gains across every metric.
Extended Drain Intervals
Up to 8,000+ hours between oil changes depending on compressor type and operating conditions, dramatically reducing maintenance costs.
Energy Efficiency
Low friction coefficients and optimized viscosity reduce power consumption by up to 3–5% compared to conventional mineral oils.
Deposit Control
Advanced synthetic chemistry resists varnish and carbon formation, keeping compressor internals clean and maintaining air/oil separator performance.
Thermal & Oxidation Stability
Withstands continuous discharge temperatures above 100°C without breaking down, ensuring consistent protection throughout the drain interval.
Equipment Protection
Superior anti-wear properties and corrosion inhibition extend the life of bearings, rotors, valves, and seals across all compressor types.
